Yesterday, our Angelina was grounded and was in time out.
Yes, she likes to go to school but she's kind of la-di-da, la-di-da in moving so we can be ready.
Well, her routine is to take a morning nap with her Dada. Normal nap pattern is 11:00 AM.
At 12:30 PM, she wakes up and have to eat her lunch. Oh my golly, this eating habit of her's just consume our time. She eats by herself in the kitchen. She sings while eating and playing with her fork and spoon. In other words, I think her time is more on the extra-curricular activities instead of putting the food in her mouth.
So, I finally told her yesterday that she's not going to school if she won't pay attention of what she's doing. She was not happy about it and was in tears because she really want to be at school.
"Tomorrow if you keep up with our time table and schedule, I will take you to school," I told her.
Yes! She made it on time from sleeping, eating, brushing and changing her clothes today.Thank you to Dada for some additional reinforcement and encouragement.
I dropped her off today and the teacher was asking her why she was absent yesterday. She looked at me and I said tell your teacher.
"I was in time out for not keeping up with my routine."
The teacher and her classmates are glad to see Angelina back.
