I called the DMV if I can get my car registration even if I didn't get a letter from the mail stating that I have to go to the said place.
She was asking about the expiration date of my temporary registration. I ran to my car and look at it then relay it to her.
To cut the story short, I can! Then I told her that I just recently paid for my old car and I was asking if there's a way they can give me credit towards my new car's registartion.
Her reply, "you can as long as you have the old car's registration plus the registration plates and your name is on that registartion."
I was so mad at myself. Why? The registration paper was in the trash already. I thought I don't need it anymore. I called my Banana at work hoping that he has a copy for it. Too bad it wasn't on his wallet and our last source would be on his glove box's truck which is parking out side their garage. He's garage is in Denver while he's working right now in a business firm somewhere in Cheery Creek.
Oh well, I have to wait when Hubby comes home.
Saving a hundred dollars makes me happy. Hopefully we can find that old registration from my Honda 2006. If not I have to sacrifice paying the $ 500 plus registartion fee perolady over the phone. Another spending spree that is unavoidable.
On the other side of the story, we're planning to go to Alameda today for my folks grocery shopping after Angelina's nap.
Have a good morning, EVERYONE.
