Hubby dropped and picked me up at work the other day because of the heavy snow, right? While riding going home, our little girl started talking, " Mama, we have a surprise for you at home!"
"Can you tell me now what kind of surprise it is," throwing back a question to her.
"It's not gonna be a surprise if I will tell you now, wait and see...okay?" according to our smarty pants Angelina.
First of, we stopped by at Taco Johns for Angelina and Hubby's lunch. I was not in the mood to eat a Burrrito with my upset stomach. I can't wait to go home since I have some fish, rice and vegggies waiting in our refrigerator.
As soon as Hubby turned the knob of our back door so we can get in,Angelina was blocking my way.
A: Wait there, Mama not until we call you, okay?
Me: As you wish, little one
(She came back and grabbed my hand and guide me down to our basement.)
A: Tadddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Our tent, Mama! We're camping down here. We ate our breakfast, watched TV, played and slept. Dada said it's okay to camp here.
She explained before I explode....lolz! I mean she can tell if I'm happy or not of what they're doing at home. It's kind of fun and creative! They occupied the whole space downstairs with our comforter as their tent. They got 4 chairs to hold the side and a broom stick in the middle to hold the comforter. It was cute!
A: Get inside, Mama so we can take pictures. You like pictures all the time, isn't it?
(Both of them were trying hard to show off their creativity. As a mother and wife, despite of how I'm feeling, I went inside their so called tent and played for a little bit. I even took my plate downstairs so we can eat together as a happy campers.
It was kind of different and something to do for my mag-ama (father and daughter). The result of being a retired vertebrae.
After a while, they took down all their paraphernalia and clean up the messed they created. It was fun and I was really surprised when I came home. Hmmm...I'm wondering what will be their next surprise for me.
