We have this unavoidable circumstances at work. It happens once in a while.
What I'm talking about?
Well, our main boiler for the whole building was down last night. They even canceled all the swimming lessons.
As I came in the building this morning, it was cold compared to our normal temperature. As soon as our lifeguard came in, I told her to check on the pool temp. She called on her cellphone and told me that it's gonna be 82 degrees. Lots of our seniors won't be happy about it.
To cut the story short, there were five of our patrons didn't get in the water and went home. They were not happy about it but there's nothing we can do. The only solution to the problem is to build a new Recreation Center.
What we have at present is an old, old building built in 1975. It's almost the same age as me...wink!
Those five seniors who went home are very nice people though and they are our regular patrons.
I told them, " Next time, call first about the pool temp before coming so you guys can save your trip in coming over."
Sounds good to them. Sometimes, we have to be realistic....wink!
