It's nice to be back at work right now. I was off for 4 business days and just stayed home, spending quality time together with my family, run errands, partying and window shopping. Pretty much my normal routine aside from my secular job.
I just opened my email at work and one shocking news that I read was my co-workers niece, who is on her 20's just died from a car accident in Aurora last Sunday. How did it happen? I don't have the info of the whole story yet. Maybe later today, I will. I'm pretty sure the whole family is in the grieving process for the loss of their precious child. That's how life on earth. You will never know, when our Creator will get us and join Him above. We have to be always ready and be prepared for death is like a thief that comes anytime in our lives. My condolence to the whole family. I know this family because they always come in my workplace to work out.
Anyway, I was done with my grocery shopping yesterday. Supposedly, the three of us (Hubby and Angelina) will go to Sam's Club but Hubby got a call from someone and he had to go and meet that someone.
Just me and my bossy little helper Angelina had a good time tasting all the food samples at SAM's...wink! I do like shopping at SAM's Club but one thing for sure, I have to pay more than what I have in my budgeted list. I have to make a list for all the things we need at home and calculated an estimated amount. That's how I run our expenses at home. It's alright to go overboard for a little bit with our budget but not much. We're just average people with an average income. For us, budgeting is very crucial especially with the economic breakdown. We never knew until when we have to suffer this kind of shaky economy.
A friend of mine is so scared to lost her job. She works in a grocery store. Maybe because of economy depression, they lost lots of customers coming to their store. The question? How could the company pays all the workers if there's no profit coming in? Tendency, they have to layoff some workers which is not a good news. It's hard but it's the best that they can do. Either closed the company or layoff some workers.
The consequences to this matter, some people are still paying their monthly mortgages to their housing, if they lost their job, how can they pay their monthly obligations? Justice to this is foreclosure. Bad thing about foreclosure, you lost your home without getting any equity orr money back of the previous payment that you've been devoted in paying so, your credit history will be bad for about how many years and you can't even rent an apartment not until someone will co-signed with you due to your bad credit history. (It depends on the apartment company...I guess).
I know, our life on earth is depending on God's Will but there's nothing wrong to be cautious on what's happening on earth. For me, I have to enjoy life but need to be practical on some stuff that need to be taken care of. Again, our economy is in a shaky condition. All we need to do is pray that everything will be back to normal and no worries in the near future.
Later today, if my KATAMARAN won't attack, we will go to Longmont for some stuff to look at. We'll see...
