How's your end? I was just teasing to one of our seniors here at work about him bringing the snow from his two weeks vacation in Mexico.
Finally, the snow just arrived once again. We've been spoiled this year for not having much, where in fact, Colorado is one of the states that snowed a lot during the winter season.
The snow just start pouring when I get out from our abode. I didn't bother to wake up my Honey Dear to drop me off since it wasn't too bad at all. Per se, the snow just started...wink!
It's a refreshing morning to begin with flakes of snow dropping on my windshield while listening to my favorite station 91.1 FM I'm so thankful of the life I have. Thank you, Jesus for giving me the kind of life I have, full of enthusiasm, hope and challenges. Isn't it awesome to be in a full swing facing all the challenges in life? Take life as easy as you can and enjoy every moment of it.
Anyway, I had a fantastic weekend!
Friday, after work schedule...I ate out with friends with "Humbang Baboy". It was delicious as ever. We all went to Alameda and Federal to buy some Filipino food. Funny thing about our trip, we passed our said destination and have to drive back. The power of chika2x is kind of fun so we ended up like half a mile overlapped. We did enjoy buying some stuff that we want.
Saturday, we drove to Har Mart by South Parker with friends again. After our grocery shopping, we ended up eating at Thai's Flavor Restaurant which is beside Manila To Go. It was my first time to sit in a Thai resto. It was not bad at all. The three of us got some Thai Pho just like the Vietnamese Pho. We all laughed and talked about the saltiness of the soup....lolz! Maybe next time, I will order a regular meal not the noodle soup.
Sunday, my family were enjoying the church service. My Honey Dear was so emotional (ahem!) and I was with him the whole time. God's miracle is just amazing...if you remember the Boulder fire just recently, what a great testimony from the Pastor's wife. Her Mom and Dad were living in Lake Valley, one of the closest neighborhood where the fire was. They were told to evacuate asap. Well, they never took anything and just left everything behind. They're old couple and don't have much time to grab some stuff at home. Anyway, prayer is very powerful. The church family were praying that night to stop the fire and that couple's house to be save. I just had tears on my eyes upon seeing the picture taken by the Denver Post. Can you believe that the fire stopped just where the backyard fence of the couple are? All the trees in the backyard including the fence were burnt but the house stood unhurt. It was a victory if you asked me. Can't asked for more...I would like to copy and paste the photo form the Denver Post but it won't let me.
Anyway, we went to Golden Coral for our lunch. I said thank you to Hubby for paying our food. Later during the day, I watched my
ASAP '09 while doing our laundry. Hubby and Angelina were taking their afternoon nap.
I was on the phone constantly, talking here and there and ended up strolling with friends again. Don't you just love people around you and just enjoy the fun? Well, I arrived home about 10:30 PM and Hubby's waiting for us. He was happy to see us home safe and sound. Thank you, Jesus!
